Lovely and very authentic French bistro. So called "peasant food" - I had the escargots, cassoulet and tarte tatin - is excellent.

Food, ambience and value are all great. Very cute traditional French bistro. But Kitchen ventilation leaves a lot to be desired so if you eat upstairs be prepared for your clothes to smell of frying afterwards

A small and intimate restaurant with a real French feel. Seating downstairs for larger groups and upstairs around seating for 12-14. My friend had the mussels, which were very good and i had the beef bourguignon. The beef was tender and sauce had a real depth to it. We shared a bottle of cremant and their tart tatin was extremely tasty. Overall a good value meal.

Have been coming to this restaurant since the 1980s. Have always had a good meal with great ambience (especially the smell of garlic from the kitchen and jazzy playlist. Very French, very good ingredients.

Great dinner guys. Lovely room downstairs. Food was first class. Service could be a bit sharper, getting enough bread onto the table (and it looking a bit nicer), and getting our orders earlier. We could have spent more in the time. Very pleasant service though.

Indifferent service and upstairs you are close to the open kitchen so you get pungent smells that linger on your clothes. Food good though, this was our second visit here and we took friends this time but will not be going again.
