   The space is gorgeous and the wait staff was the right amount of attentive. However, the brunch food was a bit lacking. There were 3 of us and 2 of us ordered our eggs cooked over-easy (one w/ steak and eggs and the other in the breakfast bowl). Both egg orders were over cooked with no run to the yolks. I also think the biscuits with the bowl should be served on the side rather than in the bowl.

   We were sitting (facing)by a double door that goes to the other room, so we constantly see people in and out in front of our face. That was very annoying. On top of that, my entree was on a pool of oil-the sauce was separated. My side dish was forgotten, after mentioning, it finally came after 30 minutes, but was way under cooked. The server was busy with a large party, but he was able to get someone to look at my fish entree, and it was replaced with a new one. Over all, the service was slow, and the food wasn’t that impressive.

   Just shoot me...just when my foodie wife and I thought we had figured out our downtown gourmet foodie ranking (Gfr) we stumble into a new place that tweaks the palate and hoses it up. Larkin's is the new addition to our runway; Salmon (don't know how they get the crunch and internal temp so right), Trout (crispy skin, or not), and the au Gratin spuds were outf------g standing. All of it, service, greeting, attention, all the way around! Cliff

   I took my parents here for their birthdays, we had a great meal, time, and the service was amazing! Our waiter Phil was awesome and he even brought out a desert for their birthday!

   Our server Markus was great, he didn't rush us, helped us understand some menu changes and had some great suggestions.

   At arrival sat for a bit saw servers standing around hostess table so it was a bit upsetting that we hadn’t been greeted or given water.. Restaurant was out of several items and our server didn’t seem aware of the changes to menu (wouldn’t say it was her fault because she’d just gotten there) waited for us to order sides to say they were out of something’s so that pretty much changed the experience. Overall I think they should/ hold do better considering price point and presenting as fine dining

    Delicious food, service went above and beyond, and overall combined to make this a great night out for dinner on New Year’s Eve! The environment was vibrant with all hands on deck bringing out plates of food continuously so everyone managed to be served in a very timely manner. Loved the holiday decorations outside along with the outdoor tables each with their own warming gas fire as well as heat towers nearby. The quieter area inside is the back of the restaurant furthest from the bar area. Enjoy!!
