   Ladino is always a solid choice. They are slightly inconsistent on protein cooks but the dips and wine selection are so wonderful they make you forget about minor blemishes. It’s one of our go tos in SATX as a local.

   What a disappointment. We’ve been very enthusiastic about Ladino since it opened, going with friends, as a couple, and with out-of-town guests for several years. But lately it’s felt a little off and last night was way, way off. Our waitress was disinterested and inattentive, several dishes we know and love were not cooked quite right, the food was weirdly slow to arrive, and it was so loud outside that we struggled to hear. Whatever is going on here is undermining a great restaurant. We won’t be back for awhile.

   Really enjoy Ladino and always make a visit during our trip, but the food was a bit on the salty side this time around. Will try it again to see if it’ll be less salty next time

   We tried Wonderful new flavors and enjoyed it all. Fresh pita bread - and I mean made to order! Shishbarak(Beef and lamb dumplings) was so unique and delicious. Server Jonathan was excellent!
