   Our reservation was at 6:15, on Wednesday, February 19, we were seated and ordered glasses of wine. Within 5 minutes of being served our wine, the waiter came over and wanted to take our order. We said we needed more time and he rudely said that we had to order because they needed the table. He walked away after his rude comment so we drank our wine and when he came over again to ask what we wanted, we just said "the bill". We complained to the owner about the rude server and she said "well it is season and we encourage our servers to move tables". It's apparent that she does not care about the customer's dining experience, she just wants to push people in and out. She also commented that they have plenty of customers. We were shocked by her attitude. A rude server and an owner that is encouraging her staff to rush customers through the dinning experience is unacceptable. There are too many other good restaurants in Sarasota to choose this one. I won't go back.

   The sauces were excellent, though the pasta a little too “robust” (thick) compared to what we have been accustomed to have in Italy. Wine list very good. No deserts suitable for lactose intolerant diners, but the pistachio crème brûlée was declared the “best ever”, by the non lactose intolerant member of the party. Overall, however, a lovely dining experience…the atmosphere and service were perfect.

   Nice atmosphere. Attentive and friendly service. Good wine list with reasonable prices. Not sure what else you'd need.

    My husband and I had an excellent experience, the food was outstanding, the service excellent and knowledgeable and the ambiance lovely. We will definitely be back.
