Went to La Unica for NYE dinner, and it turned out to be our best dining experience in CDMX. Every course was delicious and creative, and the servers went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely return on a future visit.

The street tables constantly have people coming up trying to sell things to you. I booked a regular table not the patio but they only had the patio table, where it was cold.

Nicely located in the restaurant circle of Polanco. The ambiance was lively and inviting. The ceasar salad, wagyu burger and croquettes were a hit! The escamole with bone marrow was quite an experience too. However, we found the steak tacos to be a bit dry and the octopus marinade too strong for our liking. We did stay for drinks after as the music and vibe were fun.

We were lucky that La Única was our first meal in CDMX and it did not disappoint! The cocktails we ordered were delicious (Mescal Sour & Tamarind Margarita) and we tried a variety of things from starters, to tacos, to salads, to sushi. We loved it all! Our server was wonderful and recommended my husband’s favorite part of the meal (the sushi tuna with avocado & carrots listed under “From the Sea”).

La Unica war ziemlich zufrieden. Der Service war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war lecker, die Musik war laut aber trotzdem würde ich das Restaurant empfehlen.
