   I have dined in La Maison many times. This is the first time I have been disappointed . I ordered Mussels which should never have on the menu. They were very small and the colour was almost grey. When I mentioned this to the waiter he agreed and said it was not the season for them . My question was why would they buy a sub standard product for the menu when their reputacion depends on the quality of the food. They later said I would not be charged. Money was not the issue. . The lunch was spoiled for me. Finally I would not serve them to my guests. Irene Doody

   Firstly, the low key professionalism of the maitre d and the waiter was most welcome. The asparagus starter and the halibut mains were delicious. I’ve been here quite a few times and it’s a restaurant that is always pleasant to be in and where all the staff really work hard to make it so. Thank you again.

   Wine totally overpriced. Least expensive bottle was €45. For a lunch sitting come off it.

   Excellent food and service. Would be nice to see some more vegetarian options on the main courses but other than that, everything was too-notch.
