   I’ve heard many great thinks about La Griglia and had to give it a try! It is a beautiful restaurant with a stunning patio. Overall the food was very good and the cocktails had a fun twist to them. The short rib cavatelli was my favorite! The snapper needed more seasoning. And the salted caramel panna cotta was a perfect ending.

   My wife and I came here on the recommendation of a family member and we were not disappointed. We had a fantastic dinner; I had the pork chop, and my wife had a lamb chop. The service was outstanding, but not overbearing. The atmosphere was fantastic. We sat in the outdoor area and we really enjoyed our dinner. I would highly recommend La Griglia.

   This is the first time we have been here but it definitely won’t be the last! The food was wonderful, the service was amazing, and the ambiance was delightful. We are so glad to find another upscale Landry’s restaurant.

   Delicious as always. Great menu and the food never disappoints. Service was exceptional. One of my favorite restaurants in Houston. Whether dining on the patio, the bar or the main dining room the ambiance is inviting and upscale.

   Service was very slow. It appeared that one waiter was covering the entire dining room. He wasn't very attentive. Cocktails were made well, and of good size. We ordered two appetizers: the Hamachi crudo and the taleggio cuscini. We didn't care for either one. My husband had the lobster bisque and said it was the best he had ever had. My daughter and I had the pasta alla ruota which is served tableside and was absolutely delicious. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday, and I told them in my reservation that I was bringing in a custom cake. They called me 2 hours prior to arrival and said they saw that we were having a birthday celebration and told us they don't allow outside cakes. Kind of irritated me that they didn't say something two weeks ago so we could have made reservations somewhere else. They did not offer a birthday dessert either. Not sure if we will go back.

    Appealing patio & interior. Excluding the veal, which was mediocre, the food was great. Aside from the hostess, the staff was nice. We had multiple waiters. The service was POORLY coordinated (possible new hire training?) & unprofessional, chatting while we experienced huge delays between courses and service in general & had to ask 3 times for water. Even after explaining our time sensitive schedule, we had such a long wait for the requested dessert menu presentation, that we had to forgo the course. (Was not a busy period, so no good reason for these problems .)
