La Fusta is an Argentinian steakhouse. It has been serving its neighborhood for over 40 years, having opened its doors in 1970. La Fusta restaurant is designed after the classic style of similar restaurants in South America. In addition to its spacious dining room, the restaurant also has a large room in the back for private events and parties. La Fusta's menu is crafted to make the most of the various meats that get carefully slow cooked on the charcoal grill. Appetizers include Argentinian favorites like chicken empanadas, fried calamari, tortillas de papa and palmitos with salsa golf. The signature entrées of the house are the grilled items, which include skirt steak, flap steak, filet mignon, pork chops, short ribs and grilled marinated chicken.

                                                                    Our great experience started upon entering the restaurant. A warm welcome until getting to our table and great service from there. We were never rushed. Our food was cooked correctly and tasted amazing.

                                                                    Good food and nice portion. Live music was nice too. When we arrived at 7pm, it was busy and quite noise for about an hour. When about half left at 8pm, it was right level of ambience sound for hanging out. Service was just right. We felt attended but not too frequent check-in.

                                                                    This is the 3rd time I dined at this restaurant. A good value Argentinian steakhouse. Price is good. Portion is big. Friday night live music is a plus.

                                                                    Absolutely delicious food and good value for money. The bife de chorizo and filet both came cooked as ordered and were fabulous, like I have eaten in Buenos Aires. Accompanying salads and potatoes great too. Dulce de leche pancakes are a must order. The Balcarce cake dessert was over the top good. Excellent wine selection and good espresso. Super attentive service. Don’t let the location on otherwise ugly Tonnelle Avenue fool you. This is a Hudson County gem.
