   We had a 1:45 PM reservation and were seated right away since the restaurant was only half full. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our visit. It took over 10 minutes for our server to even greet us and take our drink order. The appetizers took so long to arrive that we were already full from the chips and salsa by the time they finally came. Even worse, our main dishes didn’t arrive until nearly 3:00 PM—over an hour after we were seated. The long wait and lack of attentiveness were extremely disappointing, especially given how slow the restaurant was. We expected much better.

   Came here last Mother’s Day and they had an incredible Mexican buffet. Unfortunately, not this year but the fried fish was delicious

   We used to love the whole fish at Fisheria. This time the price had gone up and we barely had any fish on a small tilapia.

   This was our first time at La Fisheria and we were very excited to try it out. At the beginning it was very welcoming and they changed the TV to the basketball game we wanted to watch after we waited for it after asking. Drinks took a long time to come out and appetizers came out a little later than expected. Good thing we ordered the main course before the appetizers because the good to FOREVER to come out. every time we asked for something, it took too long to come out. for the sauce we asked for our tacos, we literally gave up waiting and just ate half the tacos without the sauce because it took so long. Also, the food was way to expensive for the quality, service and service. We would have spent the same amount of money at Del Frisco's or McCormick & Schmick's. We were quite disappointed. We really were expecting a better experience and better quality food.

   The music was so loud that I could barely hear the person two seats from me. This is the only time we’ve ever experienced the issue of loud music at La Fisheria. Perhaps it’s because it was Saturday night, but it was not a fun experience. There was a singer and she was outstanding. But the speakers were so loud that it was not a fun experience. The food, as always, is outstanding. With a party of five, it was annoying that the fifth person’s entree was not brought out until about five minutes after the others were served. Since it was the simplest entree, fried shrimp and French fries, we wondered if the order was not placed in the kitchen. The sweet corn tamale with shrimp is amazing, hangover soup is always a must, their steak is also great. Again, always a five star food experience, but the very loud noise level really lowered the experience a couple of notches.

   There were 8 of us and everyone LOVED their food so much. We went before a show at 713 Music Hall and this is a 5 mins east walk. Great place to go to before a show. La Fisheria is excellent. Everything was so fresh and so many great flavors!!

    We had the ceviche trio and tamales de elote. OMG it was so good! Even their salsa with the chips was amazing and I don’t usually eat the salsa. The ambiance was so nice, decorations are so bright and beautiful. Our waitress was amazing, beautiful energy and checker on us a lot (my date was guzzling water and she kept up!) there was a woman singing at the front of the restaurant, we were at the back, and it was so nice. I didn’t even know it was live until we were leaving. Would come back! Is it expensive? Yes. But it’s also good I can’t make at home and unlike other Mexican restaurants so I would still pay the price. Everyone complains about the parking? There’s a lot right next to it… pay the $10 and shut up.
