   Came here for the first time for my partner’s birthday. Service was amazing, the waitstaff was friendly and very helpful when it came to recommendations. Food and drinks were served promptly and presented beautifully. May not be within someone’s budget if they’re looking for a cheaper option, but the quality of the food is definitely worth splurging for in my opinion. Thanks for such a wonderful dinner experience, we’ll definitely be making our way back soon!

   Had an amazing time! Went to celebrate my friend’s birthday and they gave us some bubbly on the house. Amazing food and atmosphere.

   We've come here couple times now and always get the same dishes and it never disappoints! The spanakopita florentine is the perfect balance of sweet and savoury and the baklava pancakes are crunchy around the edges and fluffy on the inside and not too sweet! Love brunches here

   Everything we got was fantastic, you cannot go wrong with these shared plates! Service was also fantastic and we got the cheapest bottle of white wine which was delicious. Overall this was a wonderful experience.

   Our overall experience was incredible! We had the best server ever, Christina, she was such a delight! She made us feel like an extended member of her family or friend, as well as guiding us through our evening and ensuring we were continuously well attended to. I would come back just for the incredible service she provided, however, the food and drinks were also out of this world! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone I speak with! Will definitely return!

   Honestly, everything was 10/10 - the food, the ambience, the servers and the restaurant itself. It’s intimate enough to be cozy but it’s not crammed whatsoever and there is a spacious feel to it. The decor is very well picked, and the food was INCREDIBLE. I would highlight recommend the bread and honey butter, the grilled lamb and the feta plate. I was supposed that they only had one mocktail to choose from but I very quickly understood why that was when I tasted it - it was so unique and I can’t wait to get it again. I’ll definitely be back :)

    Regularly come to Koukla, but this time was a miss. Was disappointed to be seated by the door where my party and I had to eat with our down-filled jackets on. Before we sat down we asked if we could move, and were told we booked too last minute….we had booked weeks prior and had our selection of reservation times, so this was a blatant lie and no further accommodation provided. I regularly eat shell fish and found the shrimp too difficult to peel, leaving lots of meat on the shell - telling me it was not handled properly. We also asked if we could pay to add one skewer of shrimp to our dish and our waitress was quite curt with a simple “no” and no further explanation why we couldn’t pay for additional shrimp on the same portion, especially when we were just trying to order as many dishes to get a variety of food. While central heating can’t be controlled in certain spaces, an investment in baseboard heaters or blankets (all things I’ve seen done before with near the door seating) is something a restaurant that is this busy can certainly afford. I’ll be back to Koukla for wine and their classics, will refuse seating by the door and will avoid shellfish here.
