   We absolutely love coming to Kona Grill on Tuesdays because we know Marion will be working! He’s such a great waiter—always friendly, attentive, and he never forgets our order or the little things we like. His service truly makes the experience special every time. Great service and great food—Marion is a big part of why we keep coming back!

   Our food took an hour after ordering . Steak cooked wrong twice. Not checked on by our waiter often.

   Sat there for an hour ordered two drinks, no appetizers had arrived yet. Asked the server how much longer and she told us it would be a lot longer because they were backed up. We had a reservation… We asked for the manager and told him that we were leaving, he did end up covering our drinks which was good of him. Not sure if they were having a bad night as we over heard two other groups who were sat in our immediate vicinity having similar experiences and also talking with the manager. We left and went to Chik-Fil-A, a bit over dressed! lol

   Was very excited about this location and the food sounded good. We had a party of 12 and were seated for our reservation right away, but we waited almost 2 hours for the food that then came out cold. The waiter was nice and said he would give us all dessert since our wait was so long. He took all our orders for dessert, then only brought out 4 and basically sent us on our way. He said the kitchen is failing. The whole experience was a fail, especially with 4 kids under 4.

   We told the waiter I have silica’s and have to be extremely careful about gluten exposure. They brought out our meals and about half way through I started feeling that I had been exposed and we inquired again only to find out the sauce they put in my vegetables had gluten. The manager, Elliot, came over and asked if we needed an epipen? Seriously? You manage a restaurant and think an epipen would help. He then went to talk to the cook and after waiting for him to return we found out he went to Costco and never came back to offer any apologies or compensation.

   Tamara did not disappoint. Food came fast, warm and delicious! Loved our seating (by the huge fish tank) definitely will be back.

   Kona Grill is awesome and has a lot to offer. During the evening the vibe is awesome and honestly the starters (we had the meatballs and calamari) were so good! I had fish and chips the first time and it wasn’t my favorite (mostly due to the price/portions, it was still really good), but it’s comparable with prices you would see at any steak house and all of their food is delicious. Service is also fantastic, we will be coming back.
