   Kolucan is our new favorite restaurant!! The food is INSANELY delicious and every bite makes me happier :) combine that with incredible cocktails and amazing staff- and we are obsessed!!!

   We love Kolucan for excellent food, great cocktails and attentive service. We have been there several times and loved it. This time there was 4 of us. The noise level due to having a singer right next to our table this time was so overwhelming that it put a damper in our enjoyment. The singer was good but we all felt like we were in a night club trying to talk and couldn’t hear each other. The singing should in the lounge part of the restaurant not in the dining room.

   We had a friendly and attentive server. Another one was flittering around the dining room like a ballerina. Don’t think we could have stomached that. Food was well portioned, absolutely delicious, and a very good value in the current dining environment.

   Our entire evening was fabulous, and the food was utterly outstanding. Without any doubt, the food at Kolucan is by far the most delicious and authentic Mexican food in all of Sarasota and Manatee counties.

   First time and can’t wait to return. The server was so sweet, the marg flight was whimsical and delicious. I count resist the enchiladas, they were perfect. My husband had the scallops which were served on some wonderful chewy grain with a delicious sauce. The server brought deep, poblano sauce on the side. Very helpful as Ken doesn’t like very spicy. Nice room, easy parking. All great.

   I’ve always had a good experience at Konica. The service is always impeccable. We had to wait a while for our table even though we had a reservation. I guess the patrons enjoyed it so much they didn’t want to leave. I ordered the scallops entree which was delicious. Others ordered the short ribs, shrimp and chile rellenos. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Guests who ordered the mocktais also said they were dry good.

   The food and service were great. However, the musician was overly loud and you literally could not talk to your friends. Even the servers had a hard time taking our orders.

   Thank you for the 5 star review even though you didn't seem to enjoy the atmosphere. I apologize that you did not enjoy the music at Kolucan. It is supposed to be enjoyable for everyone and I assure you had we been made aware of a complaint we would have asked him to turn it down. I do hope you try us again, perhaps another night without any live music.

   I have dined at Kolucan a few times and my experience has always been excellent! Food and drinks are on point. Staff is professional and courteous.

   First time for Brunch & we were all (6) very impressed.l The Food & Drinks were excellent & our waiter Angel was very good. The place was hopping!

    This was our first time at Kolucan, but will not be the last. The food was great and so was the service. We both really liked the atmosphere as well. Super fun date night...thank you!
