   Really lovely meal, all food was excellent, Gorgeous cocktails and interior. Plus the staff (including security) were so friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely return and recommend for a great night out

   I’ve wanted to try here for a while, a really cool space. The food was very good, and I tried most of the vegetarian options - super fresh and tasty. The service was poor - slow, had to ask twice for water which wasn’t replenished the whole meal, served drinks wrong twice and asked about my allergy after they’d already served food and drink, which made no sense. No check back or ask how any of the food was. Waiter then confused on bill.

   The food was absolutely amazing and for someone who has tried sushi properly for the first time ever, I would definitely be going back. I liked how the staff were so attentive to my allergy as well and took it very seriously although it was unfortunate that I could have any desserts, cocktails and cocktails due to cross contamination so my options were limited in that sense. I really enjoyed my time and I will definitely go back. The only thing that let me down slightly was the fact that we got asked if we wanted water for the table and we said yes and then no one bought it over, the person who offered it to us just walked away and we had to ask another person for water which took them a while to bring it over but after that the staff were very attentive and I can’t fault the rest of the experience and I like the fact that getting a bottle of water for the table, they didn’t charge you for it like a lot of other places do.

   Staff were really helpful and attentive. One of the chicken dishes we get everytime was unfortunately extremely over cooked and dry. The rest of the food was amazing as per usual. I just think maybe abit more care and attention towards the roast chicken is needed. All of the other food was great! I didn’t let them know there as the rest was so good.

   Food was really good, especially the Chicken Karaage and the Jaga-imo Taytos. The Duck and Shitake Gyoza Mushrooms were not so nice. A little pricey and the high top tables aren’t so great to sit at, quite small and would prefer to be looking into the restaurant rather than outside.

   Me and a friend went on a Thursday for the 50% off food deal which was great. Our waitress Toya was so friendly and helpful, she couldn’t have done more for us, the best service I’ve had from anywhere in a long time. Cocktails were slightly expensive but the food was amazing, all small plates were lovely and nice for sharing. Great atmosphere and interior! Will be back again

   I had a friend visiting from abroad that’s celiac and I researched places to eat in Manchester and came across Kitten and I’d heard good things. We sat down and made the waitress aware of the allergies, and were provided with a GF menu, the menu was quite limited but there were a couple of dishes we choose to share - The Sashmi Platter, Broccoli, Potatoes and some Seabass Ceviche. We ordered two cocktails, a 5 mins later we were told we couldn’t have the potatoes or broccoli or anything cooked in the hot kitchen due to possible traces of contamination. So we kept the platter and ceviche, 5 mins later we’re told we can’t have the ceviche due to traces. So my friend ordered the animal sushi roll instead. Our cocktails arrive and she’s told she can’t have the cocktail or any cocktails due to shakers maybe having traces so we need to swap out her drink. A lot disappointed so far, we ask about GF soy sauce and we’re told that all soy sauce is GF. Sashimi platter arrives and my friend starts to eat and dip in what we thought was soy on the platter, until a staff member arrives apologising that it is not soy on the platter and to stop eating. We explained we’d ordered of the GF safe options and she advised the sauce should have been swapped out but by this point my friends already consumed some. They didn’t offer to discount or remove the dish or any of our meal due to the issue and it left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. Wouldn’t recommend for celiacs or Gf diet. The also ask my friend is she was a ‘proper’ celiac which I found a little offensive.

    The presentation of the food was outstanding. We ordered the sashimi platter, the dragon roll and the spicy tuna roll and they were amazing. The wasabi and pickled ginger tasted so good with the sushi. We also ordered fried chicken pieces and beef fillet tataki and it was so delicious. The cocktails were delicious however they were very strong- stronger that I thought it would be! That wasn’t an issue though, personally.
