Kitchen in the Desert is a Caribbean and New American restaurant located just outside the Twentynine Palms entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. We pride ourselves in making high quality food from scratch using fresh ingredients and providing a comfortable environment to enjoy it in. We have a full bar plus beer and wine and are open nightly from 5 to 10pm. *Please be advised that all reservations are for outdoor seating, so please dress accordingly.

Our party of 6 had a wonderful experience here. The outside setting was comfortable and fun! The food was superb. We would definitely visit again!

Magical spot…perfect after hiking in Joshua Tree Nat Park. Enter into yet another Universe of Awe. From playlist to menu to wait staff to delectable food…the senses are saturated and enhanced.

We had an absolutely delightful experience at Kitchen in the Desert during their Locals Night. The ambiance was simply stunning, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We started our evening with some spicy margaritas and Negronis, both of which were exquisitely crafted and packed a delightful punch. Our server, Doug, was exceptional. His attentive and friendly service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made fantastic recommendations. If you're looking for a place with fantastic drinks, stellar service, and a gorgeous setting, look no further than Kitchen in the Desert. We can't wait to return!

Everything was delicious! The lamb pops were a must (wish they came with more). The Dan Dan noodles were very good and the hanger steak was very juicy! The fried Oreos also hit the spot
