   One of the absolute worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Took my family here for a nice dinner and it couldn’t have been any worse! To begin the server was terrible, he never introduced himself and his first words were do you want any appetizers. We proceeded to order some and ask for a drink menu which never came. Appetizers arrived and he came back 5 minutes later and said do you want to order? We ordered our food and one of the dishes was a medium filet for my two young daughters to split. About 15 minutes later goes by a different waiter drops off two plates at the edge of the table and walks away. The medium steak and kids cheeseburger for my other daughter. Great I pass the plates to the girls and proceed to cut the steak for my girls and it is raw on the inside, meanwhile I finally flag our waiter down and ask for two plates because as I told him they will be sharing the steak. I also mention the steak is raw not medium ( this place is a steakhouse), he then proceeded to shake the fries off of the steak plate in front of me dropping fries on me, never apologized for it. Shaking fries off the plate, never seen this before! At this point we have one plate at the table and 5 minutes go by he brings back the steak charred black and smelling like a fire pit. For a $50 steak not acceptable and I tell him it’s not. About 5 minutes later a manager comes by and says I apologize about the steak we will get a new one started. Now we are about 20 minutes since the first plate arrived my wife and I plate arrives and my wives plate is cold, not room temp but cold. She took 3 bites and leaves it. New manager brings over a new steak and says is this medium enough for you? I sliced it and rare, at this point the girls are hungry so I just cut the out side of the steak. Neither the manager nor waiter asked how is everything? If you would have you would see my wives dish uneaten and a 8oz filet that was rare and also half uneaten . Terrible experience across the board!

   First timer - cool Texas ambience (although the music should be more Texas country than “new” country to better represent). The crab and avocado stack, filet, and pecan pie, all a must get!!!

   Food was outstanding! First time in Texas in a long time and this restaurant didn’t disappoint. Everything was fabulous!

   Food was excellent. The low rating was given because our server wasn’t attentive. The food came first and the salads came after the entrees were served. Server wasn’t apologetic. Can’t blame the kitchen for a poor server.

   With it being Thanksgiving, they were busy. However, the staff was hustling and it was a great experience. Food was tasty too!!

    Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure there was no manager working Sunday afternoon. We walked in and was ignored by the hostess. She did have a large group ahead of us, but didn’t even bother to acknowledge that we were there. Even a “I’ll be right with you.” would have been polite. Another server ended up trying to help but sat us at a table with no server. We ended up having to track down the original hostess before she finally found someone to take our order. It was my mother’s birthday month so we thought she had the $25 credit since she is a Landry’s card member. The server told us she checked but there was nothing on the card. We called Landry’s the next day and were told that we did have a $25 credit on the card. I’m guessing the server either didn’t know how to run the card or she didn’t want to be bothered with it. We had no complaints about the food. It was great, as always. I think the next time we decide to eat here, I will check and make sure a manager is working. This is clearly a restaurant that doesn’t run smoothly without one.
