Chef Joseph Wrede is a Food & Wine Best New Chef, the winner of several AAA Four Diamond Awards, several DiRoNA Awards and has received both Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast distinctions. Joseph’s Culinary Pub is a creation of Chef Wrede and his creative and business partners. This is the third incarnation of Wrede’s original Joseph’s Table, conceived in Taos, New Mexico, not quite 20 years ago, for which he is well known and loved within the region and beyond. Joseph’s Culinary Pub is designed to be a platform for Chef Wrede’s unique and uncompromising vision on traditional and contemporary cuisine, both regional and international. Regarding the restaurant as a process much like theater, Wrede envisions the experience of dining in his restaurant as an interactive play between the pub and the public, with his sights aimed at rivaling high art.

    Food and atmosphere were great! Our server was curt and borderline dismissive. It's unfortunate but really, the food saved our experience.

    Our waiter got one order completely wrong. Rather than hold up the other diners at our table the customer decided to accept the wrong order. Waiter showed diner where he had written her order down as served. In other words, it was her mistake, not the waiter's. Needless to say this was a bit offensive. Otherwise all went well with food and service.

    What are the best meals we've had in santa fe. I have friends visiting. We went last night email and the service for outstanding. Can't wait to go back and try more things.

    Always excellent food with many gluten free options. Excellent service. My only complaint is that it is very noisy in many parts of the restaurant.

    A+ experience all around. Service just the right level of attentiveness. Excellent ambiance with nice, very low lighting & noise absorbing panels on the ceiling to keep the volume manageable (too many restaurants don't do this). Food was delish. We had the duck fat fries, duck confit pad Thai and lamb burger - all exceptionally tasty. In Sante Fe for only a few days and there are so many places to choose from - so glad we decided on this location for one of our few meals!
