The Story of Josephine’s
The story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

A really excellent meal, service, ambience, the whole thing. Josephine’s is definitely a splurge for most, but based on our experience a great value for that splurge. You won’t go wrong. Enjoy!

Our server, Kyle, was attentive and knowledgeable. My Old Fashion was on point. We highly recommend the pear and pistachio salad and their crab cakes.

We love the ambience of this restaurant, and have been here a few times. This visit, they must have changed the chef. The food was not good. We ordered the Bacon and Octopus for starters, they were ok, not great. Then we all had Cesar's salad. The salad was very drenched in dressing and very bland. I had one bite! Then I ordered the crab cake, and again, very very bland with steamed veggies. The sauce had little taste as well. My son had Barramundi and he only had one bite, it had a horribler curry sauce and again, steamed veggies. My husband had the lamb chops and they were just bad, chewy with the same bad curry. We were very dissappointed and will not go back again. It was expensive and definitely not worth it.

First time to Josephine’s for a Special dinner out before the holidays. Food and our server Nate were wonderful and we will return. One word of caution-happy hour at the bar is 4:30-6:30 and it was crowded and extremely noisy. The Hostess seated us next to the bar and we couldn’t hear ourselves talking. After returning to the hostess she moved us to a quieter table away from the bar area. Very accommodating and she totally agreed. Looking forward to returning

It had been some time since we dined at Josephine's - so glad to have been back at the holidays. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and we were seated in a back room that had customers at each table but was very quiet and allowed us to have our own conversation and be easily heard. I dined on the special, rack of lamb, and my wife had the Salmon Oscar. Both absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The starter dish of homemade bacon was divine. We ended with dessert - lemon meringue and the mint/chocolate dessert (name is escaping me at the moment). Our server was attentive and pleasant and even went out of his way to grab our coats for us before we left. Always enjoy coming to Josephine's!

The quality of the food and service is top shelf at Josephine's. Absolutely cannot wait to go back. Not a big dessert person, but what a way to cap off an incredible meal.

Great solo dining experience. My waiter Brandon was fun and energetic. Gave great recommendations on what to try for my 1st time at the restaurant. I decided to order Josephine’s 8oz filet with a glass of wine. Food was delicious. Customer service from all staff members were great. Nice ambiance (IG picture worthy)
