Cool atmosphere but very poor service ruined the vibe. Good eats but extremely slow coming out considering we were the only customers in the first hour after arriving on time at 5pm. Some great jazz started playing as we were leaving so maybe things get better as the night progressed?

Made a reservation for high chairs a week in advance. Our table was given away and we had to sit at the bar. Also the server never came to ask for our order. We ended up leaving and went to go eat somewhere else. Worst experience ever!

Great place to listen to some live jazz music and get a drink. The food was fine, nothing special. The server we had was awful. We ordered a bottle of wine and the server came back with two glasses of wine. Simple mistake as it was loud. We told her sorry, we ordered a bottle not glasses and asked if we could get the bottle price and to just bring us two more glasses when finished with the first round. We were halfway through our first round when she brought the other two. So we now have 4 glasses of wine on our table getting warm and she keeps coming to the table every 2 minutes to clear items. She took my husband’s glass of wine before it was finished. The reservation we made said we’d have two hours at our table. We were getting pushed out after an hour even though we were paying customers. We felt that was extremely rude. I’m sure it would’ve been a better experience at the bar. The atmosphere and the music was great though.

People need to know that there is no formal restaurant. The menu is shared with the movie theatre, which shares space. So don't expect cutlery, napkins or plates. The menu is minimal. Our server was unfamiliar with the menu and cocktails; all the fall cocktails were unavailable, and they weren't sure if they had any hot dogs. (sigh). If the band weren't beyond exceptional, it would've been a rough night. But the music indeed was the best, and I loved listening to them.

First time to visit. Great place. Eclectic feel. Really enjoyed the Abramowitz group - very talented musicians putting out great jazz every 4th Friday at Johnnie’s

Made reservations for dining but they weren't serving food. No employee was there to acknowledge reservations or server. Only the bartender was there and was poor service. Will not return unless I know they are serving food

Seemed to be promoted as a venue with live music but didn't have that. Good was fine but the charcuterie board was served on a plastic plate and looked like they had just bought it at the grocery store.

Johnny’s jazz bar and grill is more of a bar than a grill. And as a bar, Johnny’s is great. Plenty of comfortable seats. Plenty of room at the bar. Prices that won’t break the bank. And a great entertainment venue. If you happen to like the band, you will love Johnny’s. The food is fine, if nothing special. Typical bar food. Burgers and dogs. Pizza and appetizers. It may not challenge your pallet, but it will fill you up. So find a band you like and go experience Johnny’s. If you are going for the music, you will be really glad you went.
