   Another great dining experience! We came here two weeks ago and it was so good, that we came back today. Happy Hour turned into Happy Dinner! It doesn't matter what day or time we visit, Joey's has an ambience that is always an entertaining and vibrant crowd! Our waitress, Malina, was amazing and we always ask for her when we visit. All the other staff are equally amazing, as well, and we were impressed with the two visits from the Manager to ensure we were having a great time. Hats off to the chef and the bartenders! This is what collective teamwork looks like...it shined throughout our entire night. Thanks again to Malina for the great service and the appetizers dinner recommendations! We'll be back in a couple weeks! :)

   I have mixed reviews with my first experience here. The front checkin area is too crowded and there was a situation with someone running an individual outside and nearly knocked over people. You can tell the staff was trying to go above and beyond on Mother’s Day, but it struggled to execute. It was nice to get a non-alcoholic glass option with a rose in the front, but I felt squeezed for space and it was difficult to move, sit, or hear when name was called. Overall service was slow because they were busy. The waitress tried to get a dessert come out with Mothers Day message but showed up with birthday message, which provided confusion and delay of dessert. Again, you can tell some people were trying, but overall they were not in sync with helping each other or the guests.

   Place was packed. Parking was crazy. Waiter sucked. Never offered drinks or appetizers. Manager didn’t comp anything on the bill. Waited over an hour for food. Will never be back.

   First of all, if you go on a busy night (like Saturday) prepare your patience for the parking situation. It took us :30 to get through the lot (3x circling) because the valet line was closed and the lot was in gridlock. After getting into the restaurant, we were offered some sparkling wine and they seated us within 5 minutes of arriving (with a reservation) - that's a win considering how busy they were. We first ordered the Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps - 9.5/10, we both loved it! But apparently it was a tough act to follow because the rest of the meal was not great. I had the Mediterranean Bowl which was so overwhelmed by the hummus and the fatty skin of the chicken that you could barely taste anything else. My wife had the Spaghetti Pomodoro which was bland and somewhat flavorless according to her and the sample that I tried. We sat on the patio which was spacious and beautiful. Service was great considering the crowd that was in the house. Would I go back. Yes. Service and beautiful decor would draw me back for a 2nd chance. When would I go back. NEVER on a Friday or a Saturday night when the Galleria would be crowded. Would I order the same things, only the appetizer but absolutely NONE of the same main dishes.

   My family and I had an amazing time as always. We went on Friday to celebrate my son’s 8th Birthday as well as Mother’s Day. But was far as my son was concerned it was all about him. Our server Freedom did a great job. The ambiance was a vibe. We will definitely return!

   Upon entering we were greeted with a lovely welcome at the front. We were offered bubbles and were quickly seated at the table. Janae was our server and she was extremely personable as well as knowledgeable of the menu items we had questions about. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. 100% loved the experience. Will dine in again.

    Overall, pretty good experience. There was a mix up with the drinks we received at the table, but eventually got fixed. I was mistakenly charged for a beverage I didn’t receive but the server was great and got everything fixed quickly! Good was delicious and ambiance was great. Only downside is that we made this reservation specifically for a celebration, told our server, but he didn’t acknowledge or do anything celebratory.
