    We have been to Joey’s many times in Vancouver and other Joey locations in Toronto but Joey King West is definitely a step up. Fabulous ambiance and decor and they offer unique items not available on the regular Joey menu. Great service, very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive but not rushed. The spicy crab dip was a nice sharable appetizer. My only criticism was the wine. I selected a BOTTLE of Italian super Tuscan from the wine list. When it came out in a carafe I asked the server if I could see the bottle. She told me that it was “on tap”. Really?????? Have never experienced this before anywhere. And not surprisingly, it was sub par.

    Food was fantastic, werent big fans of the super gin or the super jack and coke though.. Service was excellent and we loved our waitress( from Peterborough, we know where that is)

    Food was great, atmosphere was great. Violinist playing at our table was super nice touch and complimentary dessert for milestone birthday. Thanks for the bubbles when we walked in too! You made my 40th birthday lovely.

    Best steak (ribeye) and appetizers (dumplings) ever. Amazing and kind service. Unreal atmosphere, even had a live violist walking around playing. We went all out and our whole meal only cost just over $100 USD. Moderately expensive but extremely worth it. It was an experience, would 100% come again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    My first time at the king Street location and the ambience was great. Initially I loved it. My issue was with my order. I ordered two espresso martinis made with tequila instead of vodka and they both came loaded with some kind of hot pepper! My throat and lips were burning after I tried it. That was a major mistake in my opinion that unfortunately turned me off of the drink even though the waitress was apologetic and brought new ones. I understand mistakes will be made but when the bill came I was also charged 4 times for the two drinks that were originally laced with hot pepper! I didn't get the drinks removed from my bill for the pain of the first sip (long lasting burning in my throat and lips) and for the inconvenience. I think that is what should have been done in that situation. Other from that unfortunate experience, I enjoyed the restaurant.

    First time to this location however a loyal Joey’s customer. This location is truly different in a positive way offering a spacious dining area, bar and live DJ for NYE. The ambiance was great and we discovered some new items in the menu not found at other locations.. The service we received from Alexandra was flawless. Very attentive to our needs and great knowledge of the menu while providing us enough time to enjoy the food and have conversation without feeling pressured.. Will definitely return.
