    It was soooo loud. Soooo soooo loud. Thankfully, our server was able to move us to another room where it was a bit better. Service was wonderful. Oysters were amazing. So fresh. Food was expensive but good. We had the hangar steak and the lobster pasta. Both cooked to perfection. Happy we went but with all of the great restaurants in Montreal, I would not rush to return.

    We had an amazing time. We learned of Joe Beef from an Anthony Bourdain special last year, and in March of this year we learned we were going to move here. We’ve been planning to go here since we arrived in August, and were finally able to make it. It was everything we hoped it would be, and we were able to try some amazing dishes. Staff are extremely attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. Definitely the first of many visits while we live here.

    So many folks saying this is “the place!” The service was great. However, the food was not was it was hyped up to be. For the amount of money we spent, I wouldn’t recommend.
