Welcome to JJ O’ Malleys one of Westport’s most well known bar and restaurant. We are located at the top of Bridge St in the heart of westport town, At O’Malleys we offer a lively venue with “olde world” restaurant upstairs.
Our A La Carte restaurant is open from 5.00pm - 10.00pm (Please check updated hours on main page)

I wanted to eat everything off the menu, it was so hard to choose!! Nice vibrant atmosphere and the Guinness was great. Would definitely recommend a trip to JJ O’Malleys

Had a lovely meal with friends. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was delicious and plenty of gluten free options. Live music added to the atmosphere and was excellent. Look forward to coming here again.

We were expecting to be in the upstairs restaurant, they were only doing bar food in the bar downstairs, we should have been informed,so disappointed.

Really great service, food was excellent, steak cooked to perfection. Staff were so friendly, efficient & professional. Just a really enjoy able experience. We then went down stairs to the bar for a few drinks and it had a lovely crowd, great DJ. Really efficient bar staff. I couldn’t fault one bit of it. Really enjoyable evening for a date night. A big thank you to all the staff.

Visited JJ O'Malleys recently while visiting Westport. I had accidentally made a booking for 5 people on the Thursday instead of the Friday night. While they could not accommodate us in the upstairs restaurant, Sarah went above and beyond to ensure we got a spot downstairs for dinner. She was the loveliest, bubliest person and we had a great evening thanks to her. The food was amazing also!
