   Got reservations for seats at the bar. There is a tasting menu, as well as a separate bar menu, mostly small plates. Cocktails from menu are twists on classic cocktails, and they were truly extraordinary, as well as the off menu cocktails we ordered, and we've sampled some of the best. Food sampled at bar: Crudo, Tartare, Pain et Beurre, and Gougere. All were phenomenal. Service at bar was very attentive and knowledgable, they know what they're doing, and they do it well. Cool vibe and music playing from reel to reel player in bar. Very open, busy kitchen with frequent calls from cooks, "Oui, chef!" Great for foodies and cocktail nerds. Pricey, some may not appreciate the value.

   Me pareció un lugar increíble , el personal muy amable , siempre atentos , no es un lugar muy ruidoso Pero la comida me ha dejado mucho que pensar para ser un restaurante con estrella Michelin , los cocteles son muy buenos .

   One of our weekend guests requested that we dine at Jeune et Jolie while they were visiting and each of us (4 longtime friends) had a lovely meal. I was asked about any preferences or allergies a few days before our reservation and told them about one of our party who needed to avoid fructose. The sincere effort to accommodate this situation was completely professional and our server, Victoria kindly provided guidance as we chose our menus. All of the courses were delicious. The scallops and the Guinea hen were some of the dishes particularly enjoyed. The sommelier suggested just the right wines and our cocktails were excellent. Dining at Jeune et Jolie is an experience. Each of us was very happy with our evening.

   Always the best in San Diego. The best unique cocktail and wine selection. Tasting menu has a great variety plus we started with champagne and the seafood platter. This is definitely the 5 star experience you will want to experience in Carlsbad.

   What a delicious and memorable dinner! Jeune et Jolie always delivers an exceptional experience. From the minute you walk in the door, you notice the care and attention to detail which represents this Michelin starred restaurant. Although the menu changes often, the seafood options are always a great choice. The Amberjack crudo was bright, fresh, and a great way to awaken the palate. The Sea Bass a a main course was done to perfection, featuring a comforting blend of spinach, saffron and warm spices. Oh, and the warm rolls with cultured butter were heaven! I could have made a meal out of those and a glass of wine alone! I cant say enough about the beautiful while list that, while focused, offers compelling pairings which represent unique grower producers from around the world. Service and hospitality are outstanding. I look forward to returning as soon as possible.

    We selected from the Prix Fixe 4-course menu and did the pricier wine pairing. The service was great - waiter, sommelier & other staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. The dishes were small, intricate & delectable with unusual ingredients and flavors. The wines were definitely off the beaten path and included bio-dynamic organic wine, naturally sparkling wine, as well as classics like Meursault. If you are not adventurous in your dining, this would be a waste of money, because it is quite oricey. All four of us - with widely travelled palates - enjoyed the care and attention that went into every bite.
