   Everything was great until our server questioned why we didn’t tip more. Very embarrassing in front of our friends. As it was I payed the check and left half of the tip on my credit card and our friends were going to leave the rest in cash. However after being questioned by our server they decided not to tip the other half. 🙁

   We had dinner at JB Hooks yesterday, and it was a really good experience. The food hit the spot, and Rick, our server, was friendly and took great care of us. Definitely a place worth visiting!

   Excellent time with my wife and friends. John Grist is one of the best servers at the lake! Food was great also.

   Great night for our anniversary! Food and service (thanks Olivia!) were great as always. It was our anniversary and it was perfect. The crème brûlée for dessert was fantastic! We love JB Hooks!

   We were celebrating a birthday and everything was perfect. We had the best server. She was attentive and took time to answer our questions about various drinks. She was very busy and was still able to provide excellent service.

    Excellent food and service as always. Rick H was excellent server, he was very knowledgeable and responsive, but not overbearing. Only food item that was sub-par was the bread. The crust was so hard it was almost inedible. Everything else was done perfectly
