   The ambiance of the place was gorgeous, waiters are very attentive and the jazz show was amazing. I suggest booking 30 mins before the show as the place does get very busy and if it is a date you might need the room to talk. As it is hard to hear one another with the loud music (which you might want to enjoy anyway). The food was ok definitely now overpriced but the options are limited. The drinks were great but I felt like the bottle was a better bang for the buck if you’re a wine drinker. Would definitely come again for drinks and the show.

   We wanted to grab a quick bite and a few drinks before seeing “Moulin Rouge” at Mirvish’s. While ambiance was excellent and exactly why we made a reso, service was horrible - we had to ask for wine twice and they forgot about our main order, we literally had to stuff ourselves with it and run across the street to the theatre as we were running out of time. Yes, it was busy, but come on! It doesn’t take 20 minutes to pour a glass of wine!

   This is a beautiful listening room for jazz. The food is a convenience for jazz patrons, but this isn’t a destination for the cuisine, which is mediocre. Lovely ambience and great music!

   Disappointed that nothing special was done for my wife and I. It was our anniversary. I mentioned it on the reservation… why ask if it is a special occasion when nothing was done to acknowledge it… other than that… we have been several times and enjoy the Jazz Bistro.

   The food was amazing. Service could have been better. We were only given 1 menu when we were sat, and then when a server finally came around and took our drink order. Eventually we ordered appetizers which came before our drinks. But the food was amazing and the atmosphere and live band was great!

   Great atmosphere for a date night! The jazz band really set the mood. This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner before a stage play. They could use extra staff seating people as there was a lineup even if you had reservations.

   I booked through open table to have a table on the main floor. I got there 10 minutes before my reservation time, and the hostess told me there are no tables available on the main floor. I said I booked it through open table and specifically asked for the main floor because I wanted to see the performance as I am fan of the singer, but she apologized and gave me the second floor, which you can only see the performance through the screen. The hostess said next time she recommends calling for booking reservations - then what’s the point of OpenTable online reservations? I said I would like to speak to the manager, and although she said they will come speak to me sometime throughout the night, they never did.

   We've been to the Jazz Bistro a number of times and had great food, service and entertainment. However, this last time was our first time there on a Friday evening. The restaurant was quite full so we sat upstairs for the first time. The fumes from the burning candle oil was quite strong (smoke rises). I am not asthmatic but I was concerned for anyone who might be. And our server was not very attentive. He had to be reminded to bring my tea. And he had forgotten our dinner order, so I reminded him about an hour after it was placed. And it was the wrong order, but we ate and paid for it anyway. (He apologized.) The actual food was tasty and perfectly prepared. As always, we enjoyed the show.

   The place was very cool, the vibe was great. The approach to seating left something to be desired: although we had a reservation, we were standing in line m, outside in the cold, while one hostess went back and forth from the hostess stand and seating people. It took a long time. The music was great, drinks and food were very good, too. But it took over an hour to get our food. The waitress kept apologizing but the food didn’t come any faster. Finally, there should not be a cover charge when four people eating and drinking costs a few hundred dollars.

    The food and ambience was wonderful. Musical guest was incredible. Attitude of the place off. Artist expected us to not speak while eating our dinner. Wanted undivided attention. This is a restaurant at Christmas. While we appreciated and respected the music, we were extremely offended when a staff member told us not to speak during the performance. We left not to return for second half of the show.
