   First of all, this is a beautiful restaurant and the service is outstanding! Unfortunately, we felt the food was very overpriced for the quality. We ordered the seabream and for 40 euros, received a very bland small fish with basic steamed vegetables. Left very disappointed but maybe other dishes are better!

   We had a wonderful dinner with our family (two adults, two children aged 9 and 11) on Sunday night. The sunset views were beautiful and the food was delicious (tuna and chicken tacos, flank steak with fries, and tuna carpaccio). Highly recommend for a truly memorable dinner in St. Martin!

   The service was fantastic, even though they seemed understaffed. The food was decidedly youthful and Mediterranean. If you need a break from stuffy French food, this is fresh and light. Excellent cocktails, too. It was a fun place to watch the sunset and enjoy all the best of the island.

   I have been coming to the Island at least once or twice a year for the past 30 years and have eaten almost everywhere on the island. I had high hopes that this new, well located beachfront restaurant would be up to par with any of its neighbours such ch as Rainbow and Les Temps de Cheri . Unfortunately, it rates as the most tasteless overpriced meal I have had in SXM. The drinks were fine. Nicely garnished but lacking something. The 6 assorted dips were awful. They even managed to mess up hummus. Out of 6 small dips, all we ate were the fresh crudités which were fine, But for Euro 28, I would have expected one tasty dip. The pita bread they served the dips with with was stale and hard, more like cardboard and not edible. It could so easily have been toasted or simply thrown out, but don’t serve it to guests. The two Tuna Tacos were very average with the jalapeño peppers cut into thick chunks on top. I wonder if they even have a chef in the kitchen. The Burrata was average but again served on a stale thin pita which was hard and dry or soggy under the cheese. The fish was unseasoned, dried out and bland but I doused it in olive oil, lemon juice (which I had to ask for) and salt and pepper to make it edible. I had to call our waiter to ask for bread which took way too long but when it finally arrived it was the first warm thing we were served. In summary USD 180.00 for three starters and one main course with 3 cocktails in my opinion is overpriced for a tasteless meal.

   My wife and I had been to Java before and liked it so much we brought our friends We started with cocktails at the bar which were very good then went to dinner on the terrace overlooking the bay. Started with apps hummus etc also very good. My wife and I split a steak which was to the temperature we ordered. Taste was great. The service was excellent. My wife has celiac disease and he was knowledgeable about it. The ambiance is unbelievable. Highly recommended
