   The food was good but not better than some of the best sushi spots in town but was far more expensive. The service was ok. They wanted us to order everything all at once and we ended up getting a bit of a random presentation with one of our appetizers being served last. The drinks were very good but again, for the price, not phenomenally better then other top spots in Portland.

   I recently had the opportunity to dine at Jankin Restaurant, and I’d like to share my thoughts. the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with unique décor that set the stage for an enjoyable evening. The service was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was comfortable. I was especially pleased to see that the menu includes vegan options, which is a great nod to inclusivity and offers something for everyone.

   The service was great. The team worked together well helping each other. The restaurant is beautiful with elegant touches. Chairs are all wood and not very comfortable. The food was amazing. They serve each ordered course separately which was nice as you could enjoy each item. I would go here again even if just to get a drink at the bar.

   With an expansive menu crossing several Japanese and Korean styles my party was intimated at first, but all the food we ordered was so good I don't know if you could really go wrong. Our waiter did a great job of helping ensure we ordered the right amount and managed the coursing. I can't recommend the Bulgogi Sujebe and Hamachi Crispy Rice highly enough. I can't wait to go back and explore the menu further.

   Happy from 5-6 was perfect to try 5-6 things. Ordered the oyster shots, CAVIAR LATKE, truffle tuna, waygu slider and pork belly bao buns. Everything was delicious! Service was fast. Food came out at a great pace.

   Incredible staff as always, I brought a group of friends for a birthday dinner. Janken was a big hit! The food and presentation is immaculate. Thank you for a great experience!

   Food was good… not anything that blew my mind for the Price point, but good. You can spend less and get just as good of meal at just about any high end establishment in the city… the service was very good and the drink menu was great. The over all highlight was the drink and dish that came with a smoke dome as the presentation was fun! The drink was tasty however the smoked pork belly was underwhelming.

    The indoor blossom tree creation adds a pretty ambience to the lively dining room. Overall, the food was mediocre and average. Servers were all nice and attentive. I would say we had higher expectations for the neighbourhood and price point. Honestly, though, we were lost as soon as we sat down and were asked to use the QR code for the menu. How cheap is that? Nice night out for dinner and we are expected to look at an extensive menu online and disconnect from our company, let alone memorize a long menu on a tiny screen. We asked for menus, while they had them, the print we were warned by the server was tiny - and they were correct. How about a little investment in actual nice menus? The QR experience cheapens the entire experience. This restaurant is a one and done. thanks.
