At Jaleo DC, we're selling full Roscón de Reyes (King Cakes) for you to enjoy at home (or at the restaurant!). This brioche-like cake is shaped into a ring like the Three Kings' crowns, and decorated with dried fruit, nuts and sugar. Each cake holds a hidden bean and king figure. As tradition goes, if you find the bean, you have to buy the cake next year, but if you find the king, you'll have good luck for the whole year! A maximum of one extra cake can be added to your reservation for an additional $65. Get yours before they run out!

    Amazing NYE experience! We went fully intending to sample ALL the tapas and barely made it through a fraction of the choices because of the generous portions, but each dish was more delicious than the last. The staff was absolutely amazing--attentive, catered to our every need, and offered perfect advice. Jaleo's NYE entertainment was also lots of fun! The DJ hit the right balance all night in energy, volume, and a mix of music to keep everyone dancing in their seats (and often on their feet) while also allowing conversations to flow over the fabulous food. The New Year's cava toast and Spanish tradition of eating 12 grapes (more difficult to do than iimagined) added a very special touch. Thanks for a wonderful night to remember--here's hoping it's the auspicious start to 2025 we all need!

    Two at our table ordered the 4-course/item lunch special. The gazpacho was even better than my mom's - thick & creamy; the eggplant was delicious. The pear sorbet (a generous serving) was both creamy and light with a lovely flavor. Can't wait to eat there again!
