   I had an online reservation for a date. Requested for a booth was denied when I arrived. I asked the waitress; she told me it was all booked and was for 3 or 4 people. I was willing to wait for a booth; she still denied my request. I was there for an hour and a half. The restaurant was not even that busy; the booth was empty except for one party. The last time I was there with my husband, it was way busier; we got a booth with just us two. My husband wanted to just walk out since we drove over 1 hour, so I decided to just deal with it and stay. To remind you, every time we go, we spend a good amount of money with just us two, $300+ with tips. I was really disappointed with how little the waitress cared or tried to accommodate my request, and we were willing to wait and asked nicely.

   Terrible, horrible service made a good dishes bad A waitress told us we have only two hours and asked us what to order as soon as we sat down She kept asking us the order that made us feel we must order more They brought check right after 2hours passed We were party of 3, but they said they take only two credit cards We were very uncomfortable entire time and half of the restaurant was empty. I know why It’s unfortunate they horrible service ruined the dinner.

   refuse to give us table when there is one available, server questioned us if we really do have a table in there when my friend tried to re-enter the restaurant after sitting there for hours. the food came out way too fast made us question if they made from fresh. and everything happened there just made us feel like they tried to rush people out

   Had a great time last Friday. Food was great and we topped it off with the dessert as well. Definitely would recommend to lovers of Japanese bar cuisine.

    I have not been back to Hachi in a while due to my schedule, but it was a delight to return and to enjoy the feeling of being in a izakaya again. The food remains at its usual excellent level, although I regret that they have stopped offering the onigiri (grilled rice balls) that were a favorite here in the past. Service is attentive and helpful. It is a little noisy, so perhaps the music could be turned down, especially when the room is full and normal conversational tones have to rise to be heard above the background. A very good evening - thanks
