   We’ve been to Island Way many times in the past but was very disappointed with this visit. The food was subpar all around - lobster was overcooked, sea bass mushy and flavorless. Our server was very sweet but I have to guess new to the industry - one of our water glasses had a bug in it upon serving. Had to ask twice for a new glass and the one with the bug remained on the table. One member of our party waited 15 mins for their drink and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. I understand everyone/every restaurant can have a bad night but we had our family in from out of town and had hoped to impress them with some amazing seafood- and this experience didn’t do it.

   As usual we had good food at a great price and the service was good but perhaps too good. Before we finished our salads the next course was being delivered to the table. We all felt rushed and since the appetizers and the main course arrived so close together we were rushing to eat food before it got cold. Our server was new and perhaps inexperienced which led to the food delivery being somewhat forced. Still,love this restaurant but not happy when food is delivered in this fashion.

   We have been coming here for about 7 years when in Clearwater Beach. Have always enjoyed it but I think tonight was the best meal ever. Our server was Sierra and she was spot on in every way. RJ was the bartender and made my husband’s martini to perfection. I had the Autumn mahi-Mahi and it was fabulous! My husband chose their meatloaf selection. He enjoyed it emensly and found the portion so generous he could not finish. Always a favorite when in Clearwater Beach.

   We have been here many times and today is the first time I can say we left very unfulfilled! Today was my son’s birthday, made reservations months in advance because this is his favorite restaurant and the food was not at par. #1 the egg Benedict was AWFUL no hollandaise sauce and the food at the Buffett was actually lackluster. We left very unimpressed. So sad it had to of been on my sons birthday and he was so excited for it. Definitely not happy.

   Best brunch and bang for the buck in today's restaurant landscape. Amazing server, excellent food choices and happy to pay the 40 bucks a plate and provide server with an excellent tip

   Nice buffet and restocked constantly. The fresh York river oysters were the star attraction.

    I had a NY strip it was cooked perfectly with all the right seasonings. My partner had the hogfish served over a delicious risotto. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend for upscale dining experience..
