   I celebrated my 40th birthday here and was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t acknowledged, despite noting it on our reservation. While the service was excellent, the food arrived lukewarm, which was unexpected given the price point. Overall, we had a decent experience and would be willing to give it another try.

   This dinner was my crowning event for my big move to the area. The location is beautiful overlooking the river. The dining area is small and cozy with a nice ambiance and throw back to the heydays of the Sioux Fall Steel District. The wait staff takes great care to the small details but unfortunately we had a long hair rolled into our napkin and it was promptly replaced. We got some delicious bread and in our second serving we had another hair in the butter that was not one of mine or my wife’s. The waiter was very responsive and apologetic. We ordered a Cesar salad that was tasty and made with great presentation. We had two 16 oz ribeye steak and mine was very tasty but had little marbling but my wife’s was exceptional. Our sides were whipped mashed potatoes and french fries and both were great. I ordered a old fashion and it was the best one I have had and was brought to me table side with smoke in glass. I decided to order two more for my wife and I and sadly they skipped the amazing presentation and smoke which really lowered the excitement. Our reservation was at 9 so things seemed a bit rushed and they were cleaning around us during the second half of our meal. Our waiter took the liberty of comping the two old fashions which was nice but I wished they would of had the same initial presentation. Everybody has bad days and we figured Ironwood would be great to return to in the near future.

   I recently visited Ironwood Steakhouse and had an absolutely outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the perfect mood with its elegant yet cozy decor. The service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure every need was met without being intrusive. As for the steak, it was prepared to perfection—succulent, flavorful, and cooked just as I ordered. Each bite was a delight, and it was evident that only top-quality ingredients were used. Overall, Ironwood Steakhouse delivered an unforgettable dining experience that I can't wait to enjoy again. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   We had a great experience at Ironwood Steakhouse. The service was fantastic from the minute you walk in. Everyone is very kind and make you feel so special. It was a bit noisey, but you can't control how loud guests speak. The ambiance makes up for it. The service was fabulous and our server was fantastic! The steak was good, very tender and flavorful, the potatoes were fantastic (done perfectly) and the desserts were delicious! They are spot on when they say you can share the sides and desserts. They both had generous portions. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! We truly enjoyed it!

   The night started with cocktails at the bar. Tess and Reid were amazing. Amazing bartenders. Very friendly and made us feel important. Our server was Megan the classiest most professional server in Sioux Falls. We ordered a bottle of wine and not only did Megan open it she poured it every time our glasses got low. Brandon the General manager served the French Onion soup. Absolutely fantastic. I had the Lobster tail and it was grilled too perfection The wood fried grill added an amazing flavor. We were lucky enjoying to meet the owner Josh who is amazing. The only thing I regret is not knowing the name of the tequila Josh allowed is to taste I highly recommend

   The food was good, but the prices were steep! The service was excellent! That would be the saving grace for the evening.

    Our server, Chad, was amazing! He had a passion for the food and his descriptions were spot on. The food was amazing! My pork chop was the biggest and tastiest chop I have had in my life. I can’t wait to see the views in the summer as it is on the Big Sioux River. My family had a great experience!
