   Love Iron Hill, the restaurant I go to the most frequently. Food is consistently very good, excellent beer and a great rewards program.

   I was disappointed. I remember the food here to be great. And other locations were great too. They seemed understaffed. I saw some orders get wrong and had to be redone. One of the booths had a ripped seat and they were still using it while other booths were empty. Our server never refilled water nor offered any other drinks. The chicken fingers for my son looked overdone. My bangers and mash looked like wet potatoes drowned in French onion soup (literally it looked like they out onion soup in it) and the onion rings were fried hard.

   My daughter’s burger was very underdone in the middle/almost raw, but the service was EXCELLENT! Ask for Samara she was pure sweetness, attentive, & kind. Didn’t mention the burger to her because we didn’t want her to feel bad that’s how nice she was. We had enough food otherwise at the table to share anyway.

   Service was just okay—kind and welcoming but lengthy breaks in between visits from our server. Started out with waiting more than 5 minutes for initial drink order. No water refills throughout meal. Entrees came within 5 minutes after receiving appetizers we’d barely eaten. French onion soup had hot cheese but lukewarm broth. Busboy approached our table with the bin of other people’s dirty dishes to ask for ours (instead of setting the bin aside).

   Food was good but part of my main dish was cold. My waiter was a little slow but he was handling two different sections. The manager did ask how was our dinner but I didn’t feel like going into the issues above because by this time we were done eating. I prefer the Huntington Valley location. Never had any issues there. I would give this location another try because in the past I had a much better experience. Even had my bridal shower here 8 years ago and everyone enjoyed themselves.

   It’s a brewery so beer forward and tasty! My company had a mojito and wasn’t impressed. Fish and chips were excellent and happy hours apps were prepared and seasoned well

   The overall experience was very enjoyable. The main issue was with the kitchen. The ran out of pasta and took a long time to prepare the food. Manager came over and acknowledged the issue and was very grateful or very with providing some resolution. All staff members were very nice and pleasant to interact with.
