   Iron Hill has changed its menu several times, eliminating most of the dishes that we would order over the last couple of years. Including the steak tacos and the chicken and mushroom pasta. So we don’t go often now, after going at least twice a week. We saw there was a special St Paddy’s Day menu with some options we like. We got there at 7 pm and ordered off that menu. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage and my husband ordered the potato and leek soup and the corned beef and other ingredient balls. And the cheesecake for dessert. The server told us you were out of the corned beef and cabbage (at 7pm) so my husband asked the server to double check. He did and he came back and let said they did have the corned beef and cabbage as well as the balls my husband ordered. The server came to the table with my meal and my husband’s soup. And the news that my husband’s order was no longer available. So he ordered corned beef and cabbage. I ate my meal while we waited another 20 minutes for my husband’s to come. I was already done and sat and eat my husband eat, as he had watched me. The server should have waited to get his entree order before bringing my meal. The soup was cold so we did not eat much of it. Not great anyways. So we moved on to dessert. After another ten minutes we were informed that they were out of that also. There were five tables occupied and a lot of open seats at the bar. We would have understood running out of food and late communications if it were busy. It was dead. Given the hassle, it would have been nice if the manager came by. Maybe there wasn’t one. Our last few visits before this were pretty bad too, as we tried new menu items. Overall the place, our local place we liked to go, has deteriorated to the point that we will find a new place. Too bad.

   We were a. small party celebrating a. friend’s birthday at Iron Hill . The waiter Andrew provided outstanding customer service ensuring our meal and celebration was a delightful experience. I recommend to anyone.

   Considering it was a very busy Valentines day, seeing the lines at the check-in made me very glad I had a reservation for a month. Kitchen was busy but our wonderful server Matt made sure to set the expectation of a wait. This is our third time being lucky having Matt as our server and he's just great!

   Our server N’ Khya was wonderful. Bright, pleasant and very helpful in recommending GF items. Went out her way to make sure my wife was satisfied

   Super bowl Sunday. I had already made reservations which were confirmed for table top dining where we could watch the game. When we arrived, early by the way, we were told some nonsense about them not having accomodations due to capacity, even though again we had CONFIRMED reservations, and also told that they had tried to contact MOST people to let them know ..I'm guessing I wasn't MOST people because I was never contacted... Also told they had room in the dining area (no TV's there) and could come in the main area to STAND and watch the game...well, that's when we left ..never again have to worry about me ever trying to dine here again.
