We love this place. One of the few options for an off season weekend. Always happy with the food and service.

We loved it here. Nicer to sit in the main/middle dining room. The dining room past the main dining room felt like we were sitting in a pizzeria but they gladly changed our seats to the main dining room. Hostess was very nice. It was busy for off season. It took a little while for our waiter to come back to our table to take our order and a bit longer to receive our food. Our waiter took one of our orders wrong and served 2 different appetizers, that were incorrect, so we then told him what we had ordered and, he not so politely told us we were wrong! Knowing that we definitely didn’t eat the wrong appetizers that he tried to serve us we had to insist that we ordered the grilled calamari…. At that point dinner was almost served, so I very politely asked him to cancel that appetizer. Not 5 seconds later he walks over to the table with the appetizer, which I politely declined. Needless to say he was not very happy. So then we waited another 20 minutes to be served dinner!! The dinners were all delicious, everyone was happy with their food. We will try here again, just hopefully, we’ll have a server without an attitude.

Valentine dinner. But the staff was upbeat and the food hot, fresh and delicious. Out server Zooey was attentive and welcoming without hovering. We have eaten at all the restaurants in the group. We found our favorite.

The food, atmosphere, and our service was impeccable. We are huge fans of all of their restaurants and decided to try this out. So thankful we did! Our waiter, Erol, was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be back because there were so many other things on the menu that we wanted to try!

Il Posto is one of our favorite places in Avalon. The flounder special was absolutely fabulous. The portions are huge. We are so happy that Il Posto is open during the off season.
