                                                                                              Our waiter Patrick was rude and disrespectful. I was given a drink that was completely different than what I ordered with an alcohol I’m allergic to. He proceeded to argue it was what I ordered, when I tasted it and was not. He did get me another drink, which was correct. Our food was over salted to the point inedible, especially the gnocchi rabbit ragu. They did remove it from the bill, but again Patrick was rude. We would have alerted them sooner but no one came to our table until 20 minutes after we were served our meals. At that time 9:25 we did tell Patrick the food was very salty, the risotto as well. We asked for another round of drinks and were told the bar is closing and I don’t think bartender will make you one. Meanwhile there was a very large table next to us who was still being served their meals. At this point it was 9:35 and the bartender closed the bar and the barstools were upside down on the bar with several tables seated in the dining room. We have been to Il modo on several trips to Ft Worth and was one of our favorites. This is my first review to write but felt is was important that I let others know we had a terrible experience.

                                                                                              My girlfriend and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and had a pretty great overall experience. We thought that the food was great and we each got a drink we really liked. Our server was very polite and did a really good job at putting out our food in a timely fashion. Would go again.

                                                                                              My friend and I visited il Modo for first time last night for dinner & we both loved it! The restaurant had a cozy and sophisticated vibe. Their friendly wait staff made us feel welcome. We tried the Barada cheese with cherry appetizer & it was so tasty! I was looking forward to the entrée too, and it was the best lobster risotto I’ve ever eaten! I will definitely be back soon!
