Hy's Calgary is a modern rendition of the classic steakhouse tradition. Pride of place is held by the circular, glass enclosed grill room, producing perfect charcoal grilled Canadian Prime Grade steaks. The horseshoe shaped bar is surrounded by lounge and dining spaces that are both spacious and intimate. The menu features classic and newly imagined recipes, but Hy's favourites, like the famous Caesar salad and Steak Diane, are still prepared tableside. The extensive wine list, and delicious, hand crafted cocktails, promise something for every taste.     This was my first visit to Hy's and it won't be my last. Every second of this evening was an experience, magical in a way. The staff, the drinks, the food is beyond 5*. My entire dinner was made table side, from salad to desert. The recommendation's were 100% on point and they even went out of their way to make me an off menu cocktail. 110% you should experience the difference and enjoy the experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening, see you soon!

    Hy's knocked it out of the park again. We celebrated a family birthday that wasn't mine but if you look at that ribeye that I ate, I think you'll agree that I got the best present. Dino's personalized service was very much appreciated.

    Hys is consistently consistent. Amazing food. Cooked perfectly every time. Our server tonight was good - usually they are great. But an overall good experience.

    The service by Pascal was excellent as usual. We appreciate the seat a birthday and a date was excellence and appreciate Paul and group looking after us. She really enjoyed it and made her birthday! Thank you

    Overall the atmosphere was great and the seating area was great. Food was very nice. The only thing was the waiter was a slow coming to the table to get order plus once we got our food he didn’t come by to offer and salt or pepper. But all in all it was a nice lunch. Thanks you. Will return again.
