This place is still amazing and wonderful. The service from the greeting to the serving was excellent. We were not rushed. Everything was perfectly paced. We started with the ahi bruschetta, the octopus, and the truffle fries. All were absolutely excellent. Then, we shared a cioppino, a mushroom pizza, and two amazing salads. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and top notch. We would’ve loved to have had dessert, but we had no room. We will be back.

From the hospitality to the service to the food and drink. Everything was wonderful. We sat at the bar and were really surprised at how much they knew about the fish being served and the wine list. Loved our dinner.

We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration for my husband with our family. The food, ambiance and service were amazing- so good that we are going back later this week! A truly fantastic meal and experience!

Honu (and neighboring Mala) are known for their Ahi Bruschetta — it’s a highly recommended appetizer. Fish special for the day was excellent! Also the Fresh Catch Dore (today was mahi mahi). While everything was delicious, the two fresh fish options are worth consideration. Service is delightful and wonderful. The restaurant was remodeled since our last dine here, and it was bright, refined, and a great ambiance. Owner is such an awesome, kind guy. Support local businesses who care about their community.

Every time. Every single time it’s a spectacular dining experience. My wife and I now make sure we come here at least once a week when we’re on the island, and the food (mahi mahi), drinks (try the Slight Detour), and the service (this time it was Rich) have been exquisite 100% of the time. And for an added bonus, come during sunset and listen to the big rocks shuffle as they recover from crashing waves. Highly recommend.
