   We absolutely love High Tide and have frequented the restaurant for years, but our visit last night left much to be desired. My daughter got the lobster macaroni and cheese which lacked in flavor and the lobster was basically non-existent. Our server was MIA for most of the evening as we sat with empty drinks searching for her. I am disappointed in this trip overall given that we normally have such a great time and delicious food when we go there!

   We just purchased a home close to High Tide. Have been there a number of times and have never been disappointed. Great service, lots of menu choices… the food is outstanding…?simply a great place to eat & enjoy quiet conversation. I always enjoy my date night with my wife at High Tide.

   The food was just ok. It has always been good in the past. The location on Val Vista is much more consistent. It was a disappointing experience, but the waitress was good and the manager had the burnt food remade.

   Our first time at this location, had high hopes for a new favorite seafood restaurant. It was overall not good. Started with the clam chowder and rainbow sushi roll. Chowder was thick - almost gravy consistency - and very bland. Sushi roll was small and presentation non existent - just slapped on a white plate with a tiny dab of wasabi. Had to ask for more wasabi and more ginger. Could have done a drizzle or decorative sauce placement (check out Smokin Fins for excellent sushi presentation). Entrees only got worse - my Chilean Sea Bass was so salty I couldn't eat more than three bites (and needed an entire glass of water just to eat that much). Also the sauce was not on the side as requested. My husbands seafood pasta had so much sauce that it overpowered the seafood - he couldn't even eat half of the entree. We let the server know - but no adjustments were made. Really disappointing experience for an expensive meal - will not be going back!
