Been coming to hideout for 3 years now every time my wife and I visit Oahu and it never disappoints. The Hamajang Board is a must order. The pork belly Brussels are definitely my favorite and my wife ranks the ahi sashimi with some of the best she’s had. Vibe is always on point as well. Theres plenty of great food around Waikiki but many places in the area are lacking in this department so it definitely sets the hideout apart. Every live music act or DJ I’ve seen there have been great. We’ll keep coming back.

Loved everything about the night. Food was very tasty Our favorite was the shrimp dumpling and the kalbi bowl Our server Kai was very attentive… Sitting outside, above the street crowd was great people watching and the weather was just perfect to sit outdoors. Will definitely be back.

The kitchen was out of several items, and unfortunately, we weren’t informed until after placing our order. This could have been communicated upfront by the server to avoid disappointment.

So the food and drinks were really good enjoyed the meal the only thing was a few of the chair’s at the table were these small uncomfortable wooden chair’s not great for eating.

It was our second time dining here. We remembered it from our last trip to Hawaii and wanted to go back. It was just as good this time. The food, cocktails, live entertainment, ambience, and service was excellent. It was exactly what we wanted.

Our visit to the restaurant was off to a rocky start. Upon arrival, we were met not with a warm welcome but with the rather curt question, “Do you have a reservation?” Unfortunately, we did not. The hostess then made us wait before ushering us to a less-than-ideal spot—a sandy corner with a low stoop that made dining quite uncomfortable. Feeling out of place, I requested a different table and was moved to an inside corner right next to the kitchen, which was not much better. While we waited for our waiter, I took the initiative to secure a reservation online. I then approached the front desk to inform the hostess of our new reservation, we were finally seated in a proper location. Despite the rocky beginning, the food turned out to be a pleasant surprise—delicious and well-prepared. Our waiter was attentive and provided good service, which helped salvage the experience somewhat. However, the initial poor reception and seating issues really overshadowed what could have been a great evening. If the restaurant can improve its hospitality and seating arrangements, it has the potential to be a truly wonderful dining destination.
