Hestia, named after the Greek goddess of the hearth, is a modern live-fire grill house. Dishes find inspiration from a custom 20-ft hearth which anchors the kitchen and dining room. Our menus offers an opportunity to explore and showcase techniques that highlight the role of fire in food. You may choose to order from our a la carte menu or experience our chef curated tasting menu.

We accept reservations 60 days in advance. For event inquiries, please visit our website.

2024 Michelin One Star

Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: Kevin Fink

From the OpenTable editors: When the MICHELIN Guide rolled into Texas in 2024, Hestia, from the famed Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, scored a coveted Star. Locals have long known it's a gem. To start, a 20-foot grill crackles with live fire in the center of the charcoal-toned dining room, where you can do a 12-course tasting with dry-aged Texas wagyu or choose from a la carte options like scallop in beef tallow. Or keep it casual at the bar with a wagyu burger, and pair it with a killer martini or a pick from the 400-bottle-strong wine list.

Service and food were superb. We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s birthday. I can rave and rave about the experience but nothing would do it justice. Can’t wait to be back.

Visited Hestia on 3/22/25. Upon arrival the staff was attentive and gracious. We were seated immediately for our reserved table. The noise level is very, very loud. So there is zero chance of conversation-not a date or business meal environment. The service staff have to raise their voices substantially to educate on the course(s). Surprisingly there are a lot of tables in this small suite. I was expecting a quaint and quieter room, considering the price point here. The meal for two, including wine and martinis was $700.00 US. The twelve course with wine pairing(s) was interesting, beautiful, and well presented. The portions were well planned. The food & wines were delicious, overall. The courses seemed to absorb a lot of salt and smoke flavors. I’ve dined at most of Austin’s Michelin recipients’ establishments and all have a niche. The only recommendation I’d make or ask management to consider would be to make improvements to the atmosphere.

This was the best meal we have had in Austin. We tried the tasting menu and martini cart. Each plate was creative and unlike anything we have tasted before. Everything was delicious and melted in our mouths. We loved how the chef brought in Texas flavors like mesquite. The martini cart had a caviar bump which blended perfectly with the martini. Highly recommend this experience!
