Our menus offers an opportunity to explore and showcase techniques that highlight the role of fire in food. Had a 7:30pm reservation and we arrived on time (even though it took forever to find parking seeing how it was NYE and there for some reason was no valet at a Michelin starred restaurant for a very busy night), but we weren’t sat until 8pm which is a very irritating way to start the night (only explanation we had was the table we have had just received their dessert). Having been to many Michelin starred restaurants in the US and abroad this one seems to have some definite work to do. The atmosphere was beyond enjoyable…the music was super loud and everyone was on the verve of yelling …you couldn’t hear the person across from you at all. The food was well let’s just say okay …nothing from the pre fixe menu was really that memorable. The service was fine until the end of our meal when (again we were sat 30 min after our reservation time) we were trying to talk to the table next to us (again an incredibly loud atmosphere) and were told that we could continue our conversation on the couch but the tables would need to be cleared soon. Really? Great service and hospitality..not only was I sat late but then asked to basically leave because we were taking too long ….absolutely not something I expect from a 1 star restaurant…I have been to the other 1 star restaurants in town and the experience at both show why they have earned the star…I was greatly disappointed in my overall experience and based on it am not inspired to go back . Just a note maybe have seatings and not regular reservations in holidays if time management is an issue …might help solve the problem of your guests feeling like they paid 600$ for a meal where they were made to feel unimportant and like cattle.

The New Year’s Eve pre-fix was incredible. Every dish had a depth of flavor with outstanding presentation. The service was top notch and the gluten free accommodations were extraordinary. The three hour experience left us full, satisfied, and truly felt like a celebration.

We did the tasting menu. It was as expensive as is typical in these kind of restaurants. However dishes like chicken heart and beef tongue are poor choices. Most of the dishes unfortunately did not hit the quality I am used to in this price range. And the quantity is not commensurate to make up for it.

Every dish and every cocktail was outstanding. Flavor explosions with every bite, well balanced and unique cocktails. Gabby and Rudy took great care of us, George is a true hospitalitarian, and everyone who came to our table was so knowledgeable about the item they were serving. Great restaurant, great staff. Completely understandable why they earned a Michelin star. Run, don’t walk, to your reservation now!

Food was amazing. Service was fantastic. They helped us course everything out even though we were on a slight time crunch. The martini cart was the cherry on top. Would highly recommend to anyone.
