    Herons is an upscaled restaurant, the ambience is very elegant, the deco is stylish and service is excellent. Food is also great. We had lunch there, it was beyond our expectations.

    The food, the atmosphere and the service were all exemplary! We had brunch today, I had the smoked salmon bagel and my husband had the seafood hotpot! What a wonderful quiet and relaxing moment in the busy holiday! Priya took excellent care of us and made us feel at home!

    It was not just a dinner, it was a dinning experience. We liked to go there around Christmas time when my daughter came home. We had never been disappointed. We liked all the dishes, each one was unique and different. Highly recommended.

    Our server Crystal offered helpful suggestions and delivered considerate professional service at lunch. Our food was excellent. Try the butternut soup. And the pear dessert stunned the table with an unexpected optical illusion and refined flavor profile. We need to remember to dine more frequently at Heron's, not just for special ocassions. It's a great value at lunch; more affordable than we remembered.

    Abbey our server was wonderful - highly recommend her!! Abbey and the Pastry Chef were the bright spots in a mediocre meal. We are not a fans of the Asian inspired menu (we have been here multiple times and always loved our food before this menu). My Filet was over cooked zero pink (asked for medium). We have many good Asian, Ramen etc restaurants in Cary at much better prices no reason for Heron’s to have an almost exclusively Asian inspired menu which was mediocre in taste. Our Desserts were very very good!!! Sadly won’t be back until the menu changes.
