   I was at brunch with my husband and my parents and I had a very troublesome experience. I ordered an “Innocent Cocktail” along with my food. After about 10 minutes my husbands mimosa was served as well as, what I thought was, my mocktail. I took a sip and immediately panicked. After 4.5 years of sobriety, I had alcohol. I immediately asked my server and she said it was the Blueberry Lemonade mimosa I ordered. I explained I ordered the mocktail as that flavor was not on the mimosa list. She immediately asked if it was “a problem, like oh no! Are you????” I answered that I was, in fact, sober and that I would like a non-alcoholic drink. After my entree arrived about 7-10 minutes after the rest of the party, I was beyond disappointed. The Caprese Acocado toast was so hard to cut, that it took me several attempts to cut through the bread every bite I took. The tomatoes are cut egregiously large and cannot be eaten in a bite (had to cut each into 4). And, the eggs were not even warm - maybe room temperature at best. When we received the check, there was no compensation or even acknowledging what happened. In addition the mocktail was the same price as my husband’s mimosa. All in all a very large disappointment. It may not seem like a big deal, but serving a sober person a cocktail is the same as a food allergy incident. And to ask me about it felt like adding insult to injury.

   Laigh Ann was such an excellent server. Every dish was superb from the small bites to the tiramisu French toast. The brown sugar bourbon martini was the cherry on top!

   Really enjoyed lunch at Heck’s Beachwood. The Rocky River burger is back on the menu! Service and food were terrific!

   Tristan was the best!!!!! First time eating up in the bar area. Noise level was actually a little better up there! Tried something new and, as always, it was delicious!

   Went with a party of 6 . 5 entrees came out. They told me my burger was given to another table. It finally came after everyone at my table was through eating. I told them to just pack it up for me. They charged me full price and really didn’t apologize much. Never refilled water glasses or even asked .

   Everything about heck’s in Beachwood was good the food the ambiance. It was casual but it an elegant way. Out waitress was slammed we didn’t seem like a high priority if I had to change anything it would be that. I had a great time overall and would go back

    Anticipating a busy night, we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated not more than 5 minutes after arrival. The hostess was very pleasant and attentive and we were seated at a lovely table. Coop, our waiter, was more than attentive, despite the fact he was serving a large party of 20 in the front of the restaurant. Our water glasses were never empty, our food arrived piping hot, and beautifully presented. The wines we chose were wonderful. We definitely will return.
