   Food was nice quality but the portions were small, the service was pretty shocking, didn’t get served or even acknowledged for 25 minutes. No bread or water brought to the table for 45 minutes. Set menu yet didn’t get given dessert. Also set menu was £45 each, we had an additional cocktail each yet the bill came to £145.

   Valentines Day so no al a carte menu. Fixed price. Staff had made a real effort to create a good vibe. Food came quickly and tasted great but the service was outstanding. All the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Impressive.

   Good food and service. We felt the meal took a while to arrive. Maybe it was because we only had limited time. However they were quick with an order for a friend who arrived late

   Very tasty food. The waiters were very attentive and polite. Considering this is in the heart of Canary Wharf, the bill I received was very reasonable and would quite easily pay this in a town where I live.

   It was our first visit to Hazev, but it won't be our last. It was one of a very few restaurants in the area open on Christmas Day. The staff was friendly and jolly, as was the atmosphere of the restaurant, with lovely decorations and recorded Christmas songs being played. The Christmas menu was reasonably priced for what was offered, which was a sample of seven starters (humus, tabbouleh, tzatziki, aubergine with tomatoes, filo with spinach & feta, falafel and deep fried prawn) served with freshly baked bread and a choice of one of six main courses. We enjoyed all of the starters. The deep fried king prawn was my husband's favorite and I had a hard time choosing a favorite because I liked them all. We ordered the kofte, which was a generous portion of two skewers of lamb mince and the Hazev special, which was a generous serving of tender, succulent and deliciously seasoned lamb stew on a bed of the most heavenly concoction of aubergine with cheese and bechamel. I savored every bite. For dessert we were served two bite sized pieces of pistachio baklava which made a perfect end to a wonderful meal. Their menu is brimming with other delicacies I look forward to trying. Thank you to the Hazev staff for making us feel welcomed so far from home on Christmas Day.

    We had our team Christmas lunch here and it was lovely! The set menu was varied and portion sizes were big. The food came quickly with attentive service but we were also not rushed at all from the table after we had finished our desserts. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas.
