   We had a lovely birthday meal, really excellent service from John. John provided reassurance dealing with very difficult allergies. He made our evening very special. Food was fantastic. Thank you very much indeed. John was extremely helpful with the menu too.

   Enjoyed our visit, the bar staff were excellent considering how busy the establishment was, they were on top of the orders ands service at the bar was excellent. The only down side to our visit was the trimmings with the chateaubriand, the veg were lacking in quantity and quality. The cabbage was cold and the carrots lacking in quantity as where the roast potatoes. The gravy helped make up for the trimmings.

   Another superb meal at Hawksmoor Edinburgh. Our server, Wiktoria, was wonderful. Would not hesitate to recommend, and will be back again as soon as we possibly can.

   Fantastic food, justified the price. However service was inconsistent with no fixed server, multiple people serving us at different standards - asking repeat questions.

    Lovely setting. Food was good but not even close to the cost for quality vs value. Shame. If it were better priced we may have gone back. There are much better steakhouses around that offer the same experience at better value.
