The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! The hostess acknowledged my note requesting an intimate setting which put in motion what was to be an exceptional night with my first date. The food is always phenomenal! Our server was outstanding, the food was fresh, and the way that it was presented was outstanding. I'll definitely be back again...I even secured a second date to make the night even more special : ) Thanks for a great evening!

Probably the best quality fish we’d ever had at HAPA. Service on the other hand was incredibly disappointing. We had to constantly ask for things we needed, ie water refills, cocktails, ginger.

Hapa is always excellent. Their food is very fresh and the service is excellent. Try the Colordado Hamachi.

I have reservations on time but someone give us table and we where waiting literally 10 minutes then I asked to speak to the manager the manager he came and he’s very polite and he’s understanding our situations, but the servers there was serving behind us in the ignore us so I was not very happy. This was the first time at this place and definitely I will never be there again, but the manager will be very grateful. He’s understanding my situation and he’s doing his best

We used to love Hapa but stopped going because they never changed the menu and it got very stagnant, especially compared with so many other creative sushi choices in the Denver metro. We heard that there had been menu changes so we decided to try it again. The sashimi remains excellent. However we chose 2 new menu items (crispy rice and a roll with sautéed spinach). The crispy rice and tuna is really delicious. Love the texture although I felt there was a little too much sweet sauce. The roll with the spinach was not that great. It's a personal preference thing but neither of us loved it. It was not that interesting, taste-wise. One roll we got was one of our old favorites, the vegetable roll with eggplant miso on top and sweet potato tempura inside (vegetable dragon roll I believe). The tempura inside was terrible It tasted like it was stale. very hard to crunch and not fresh. We talked to our server about it and the manager came out. They addressed the feedback in a very professional manner and we appreciated that they took those 2 rolls off of our check. But it was still expensive for what we ordered. Our server Andrew was terrific. We will definitely give it a try again some time in the future. but overall, somewhat disappointed by our visit in terms of the food.

We love Hapa, and go to different locations all the time. Cherry Creek location is the best! We came in for my birthday tonight, and were excited to get Anayeli as our waitress again. She is extremely knowledgeable, super nice and the best waitress we’ve had at this restaurant. Thank you so much for such a nice service and a smile we always get from you! You made out night even more special. Special thanks for my birthday desert and a treat for my daughter’s gymnastics competition awards! We will be back soon!
