   We sat on the patio under the heaters on a cool night which was lovely. The service was poor - only because our waitress was working our table AND the bar - so it was not her fault but something that could have been managed better. The table behind us had a completely different waiter, so I don't know why she couldn't have transferred our table to him so that she could work the bar. It seemingly took forever to get our food to the table. When the food did arrive - we did not receive some of the ordered items which was removed from the bill. We also did receive our next round of drinks until we were completely done ordering and by that time we had to leave. The taste of the food was fair, but honestly, dinner for 2 cost a weeks worth of groceries and for that price point I would expect food that's better than 'fair'.

   The food was incredibly over priced. The rib eye was $52 and about an 1 1/2" thick. Quite small for the price. As was the salad. Tables were quite close together. So all in all, based on the elegant website it was quite disappointing

   We went there on a very busy night yet service was perfect. PERFECT STEAK and some very solid cocktails. The ambiance was great, next table had a birthday, in a private room next to us a bachelor party. Strongly recommend! Ribeye steak is amazing!

   This was our first visit and we had a great date night dinner. We started with some caviar which was nicely presented. After that we had a lobster pasta and a bone-in filet mignon. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with our meal. The service was beyond excellent and we were truly welcomed. We cannot wait to return. We highly recommend Greystone for pleasure or business meals, special occasion or just an ordinary night out.

   I have been dining here for years. The food, drinks and service are excellent! Sara is awesome and always remembers what my favorites are. She ordered me the gold old fashioned without me having to ask for it. The smoked mussels were delicious with popping flavor. I also had the wet aged filet medium with a port wine reduction. It was so tasty, and I cannot wait to go back!

   By far the best steak i have had in a long time. Thank you Greystone for making our girls night out so perfect! Do not miss the Tomahawk and the steak tartare, another winner is the Wedge salad and the King Salmon. Cute yet upscale, one of the few real gems in the Gaslamp!

   We had a lovely experience during restaurant week at Greystone Steakhouse. Our appetizers included oysters and wagyu which were both exceptional in taste and display. The wagyu was by far our favorite part of the meal and worth the extra price as it was full of flavor and melted in your mouth. Both of our steaks were cooked to our specifications and the wild mushroom was a great side dish to the meal. We each loved our drinks and they created a smoked Manhattan which my boyfriend loved! Our server and the rest of the staff were very kind and consistently checked on us throughout our time at there. Highly recommend and would return soon!

    We felt like we were in a good factory. Got us in and out quickly. Salad was small, steak was ok. Tender but odd slice the chocolate dessert was not edible. Our server was efficient they added tables near the stairs and people kept hitting our table. Would not recommend
