   Excellent experience. Fantastic service in a wonderful space with beautiful and fragrant oriental lilies. Sea bass was great but the short rib was even better. The beef carpaccio / tartare was far better than we had in Spain and Portugal. Must return!

   Welcoming staff who helped with food combinations and wine selection. Great selection of breads. Squid was delicious and was the pasta and shrimp (served in a way I’ve never seen!) not rushed but just right in timing. In a great location on the Plaka.

   We shared an order of Parmesan truffle oil fries which were absolutely delicious. I had the chicken BBQ plate and the bride had the storied short ribs dish. We shared a side salad. The chicken was delicious and a huge portion. The bride thought the short ribs were mediocre. Once we finished eating it took about 30 minutes to get the check. He said people had called in sick and there was only one waiter. He tried, but was in the weeds most of the night.

   We found this spot through the OT community, so thank you. The experience was awesome. It is laid back, the service is good & attentive. The food is amazing. The bread, olives, etc to start are too good. Be aware you have dinner yet to arrive. Definitely a must visit restaurant. We hope you enjoy..

   Athens has wonderful restaurants. We were in the city for three nights. Our first two nights we relished the deliciousness of two Michelin recognized restaurants. But our third night was a treasure at the Grande Dame. A perfect contrast to our previous nights’ dozen courses, it seemed like Greek mothers must be in the kitchen preparing these tasty home-cooked affairs. And the service from Costas tied the whole experience together magically. If I could give six stars I would.

   we had dinner at this wonderful establishment on our last night in Athens. Upon arriving we were seated at a lovely table in a quiet room. Ambiance was wonderful. Constantinos suggested a Greek red and a rose bottle of wine for our table and all enjoyed along with complimentary appetizers. We shared some delightful starters among the 4 of us. For the main course we enjoyed the short ribs, the roast of lamb and the cod fillets. Everything was prepared to perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful delicious and relaxing dinner in the heart of Athens.
