Wonderful gem, delicious fettuccine with mushrooms, great pear and beet salad, the scallops special was amazing. Beautiful relaxing intimate atmosphere and great servers. Absolutely will return.

Valentine’s Day with my sweetheart and my teenager was a huge success! Under new ownership — and same great food and excellent service. A gem in downtown Weaverville. Old world Italian at its finest. Great wine selection.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The mushroom ragú was very hearty and tasty. The striped bass special was fresh and properly cooked. We shared a delicious brownie with gelato. The pasta, brownie and gelato were all house-made. They have a nice bourbon offering and good wine selection.

Our servers Maura and Monica, made our night! The bread is ridiculously delicious and I learned to order less so I can indulge in the bread more!!! LOL

We eat here frequently and it is always just perfect! So glad onion soup is back on the menu and it was perfectly seasoned with lovely melted gruyère cheese. The new owners are doing a great job.

Glass Onion has new owners but regulars will appreciate the same excellent food, service and ambience. It was refreshing to have special menu items in addition to the traditional Glass Onion menu loyal patrons expect. The arancini and sauce were light and delicious. We enjoyed the special bass fillet over cannellini beans paired with a light creamy tomato sauce. Our San Pellegrino sparkling water was served with stemware and generous lime wedges. Beer was served with chilled glassware and the house mocktail was fruity but too sweet. ‘Overall a 5 star evening.

One of my very favorite restaurants - everything about it is just perfect! If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and go to Weaverville and enjoy this gem of a dining spot!
