Located in Ottawa, Ontario, gezellig prepares each menu item using high-quality ingredients purchased locally. On the menu are items such as seared scallops, braised beef shortibs, potato gnocchi, beef tartare, duck breast, and wild-caught lingcod. Great experience and awesome food. Service was above normal and we were made welcomed and not rushed. Food presentation was great and wine selection was amazing. Would recommend to anyone who wants a great romantic evening with that someone special

I love the brunch/lunch concept - two small dishes, no judgment if you want two mains! Everything I've had has been delicious and well-presented. Pleasant bright environment and friendly staff.

Lunch was overall a lovely experience. The soup of the day was absolutely delicious but served at room temperature. Once we had it re-heated, it was excellent. The fish cake and slaw was delectable...perfectly seasoned and crispy.
The service was wonderful as always. Our server Bill was really lovely, professional and very responsive to our every need. We certainly will return.

This is one of our semi-regular destinations. The food was good and the service was attentive. My wife asked about a $48 bottle of Pinot Grigio which our server said was no good and offered a $95 Trebbiano instead. I/we were ok with the Trebbiano until I realized the price and I suggested we find we order the $65 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc instead - still not cheap, but it was very nice.
